How much does a custom technical training cost?

The cost depends on the topic, the number of team members you want to train, and whether you prefer the sessions to be online or on-site.

What is RealPars custom training?

This is a training program that we customize and create based on your team’s specific needs and the equipment they use on-site.

What is the format?

These custom training sessions are instructor-led, meaning our instructor is present during the sessions. The training can be delivered online or on-site at your facility. It can also be a hybrid. For example, two 4-hour online sessions and 2 days on-site.

How long does this training take?

A custom training requires at least 2 people. Teams with more than 10 participants may qualify for a volume discount.

How many people can join a custom training?

There is a minimum of two people per training. If you have more than 10 people, you will also qualify for a volume discount.

Who are the instructors for these training sessions?

The instructors are selected based on the training topics. All RealPars instructors have hands-on experience in various fields of industrial automation.

What are the training topics?

Since this is custom training, the topic depends on your needs. To give you a better idea, here are some examples of custom training we have provided for our customers: PLC programming, PLC troubleshooting, PID controls, industrial networks, industrial sensors, drives, and servo motors.

How long does it take to receive a custom training offer?

After we receive the details about your team’s training needs, it usually takes about 1 or 2 business days for you to receive a detailed training proposal that includes the cost.

Is this an online course?

No, this is not a pre-recorded online course. This is live instructor-led training, meaning the instructor is teaching your team in real-time. It could be remote or on-site, but it is different from a standard online course. With an online course, you take a pre-made course at your own pace. With custom training, both the instructor and your team must be available at the same time.

How are these custom trainings different from those delivered by companies like Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or other OEMs?

Training from OEMs is usually focused specifically on their own devices and products. However, RealPars custom training can be tailored to a system that includes devices from multiple different brands.

What are some examples of when teams need custom technical training?

Suppose your team is experienced with Allen-Bradley PLCs, but you have recently installed machines with Siemens PLCs. We can create a custom training to help your team get up and running with Siemens PLC programming software (TIA Portal) and hardware so they can handle troubleshooting faster.

Could this custom technical training be created based on new projects we are working on?

Absolutely. For example, if you are working on a new project that involves IO-Link and your team does not have previous experience with it, we can create a custom training focused specifically on IO-Link and the devices you are using for that project. This helps reduce errors and keeps the project delivery costs within budget.
